Top Movies to Watch in September

Lots of movies coming to theater this month. September is packed with science-fiction and animated films, new stories making their debut in theater and some of our favorite movies are having their sequel this month.

So grab your pop corn and be ready to have some fun.

RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION – Miss Milla Jojovich is back. Yes, you heard right the Ukranian actress is back in the  fifth installment in the Resident Evil film series. We won’t only see actors and characters from the previous movies, but also new characters from the video game not featured in the Resident Evil film series.

The Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. Meanwhile, Alice, awakens in the heart of Umbrella’s most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington D.C.. and Moscow, culminating in a “mind-blowing” revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by newfound allies and familiar friends, Alice must fight to survive long enough to escape a hostile world on the brink of oblivion.

Finding Nemo 3D: The most famous fish-Nemo- is ready for the adventure, this time on 3D. After the success of the 3D re-release of The Lion King, Disney and Pixar announced a3D re-release of Finding Nemo. Just be ready to listen Nemo, Dory, Nigel, Seagulls, Crush the Turtle once again.

Release Date: September 14, 2012

Nemo, an adventurous young clownfish, is unexpectedly taken to a dentist’s office aquarium. It’s up to Marlin (Albert Brooks), his worrisome father, and Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), a friendly but forgetful Regal Blue Tang, to make the epic journey to bring Nemo home. Their adventure brings them face-to-face with vegetarian sharks, surfer dude turtles, hypnotic jellyfish, hungry seagulls, and more. Marlin discovers a bravery he never knew, but will he be able to find his son?


HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3D- A monsters animation is coming this month. If you think that you were a monster in another life or love Dracula/Frankenstein, the Wolf Man old movies this film is for you.

“Hotel Transylvania,” a CG comedy that opens Sept. 28 from Sony, finds Dracula (the voice of Adam Sander) as he runs a fancy resort where monsters and their families can relax and enjoy being monsters, away from those pesky humans. That changes when a human stumbles upon the hotel during the weekend of Dracula’s daughters’ 118th birthday celebration.

Now you can find where all the monster were hiding…

House at the End of the Street - This is our favorite Pre-Halloween Movie of the season. You do not have to wait till October 31st to get scared. After watching the trailer I am convinced that you will scream at least 5 times during the movie.

A mother and daughter move to a new town and find themselves living next door to a house where a young girl murdered her parents. When the daughter befriends the surviving son, she learns the story is far from over.

Looper: Almost one third of the critics have said LOOPER’s their most anticipated movie of the fall. That is primarily due to the impressive track record of its director Rian Johnson (‘Brick,’ ‘The Brothers Bloom’).

Starting: Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emily Blunt, Piper Perabo

In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. — (C) Sony
