Sears Style is About DIY

I have always said that Style is something you are born with, however the source of your style is a different story.

Have you ever felt that you wanted to buy a nice outfit but you felt there was something missing to complete the look you wanted to get ? Now is time to use your creativity and start implementing the DIY technique.

DIY or Do It Yourself is building, modifying, or repairing something without the aid of experts or professionals.

At Sears Style Art of Fashion Event in Miami, everything was about DIY. South Florida Fashion Freak and Bloggers had the opportunity to customized jeans provided by Sears to add that personal touch to the look.

La reina del DIY, Jenny Radosevich, author of I Spy DIY Style inspired tons of fashionistas to transform simple jeans to stunning creation. She provided us the steps to recreate the runway-inspired pieces. One of her advice was: “With just a few key tools, you can update almost every item in your closet creatively—no sewing required!

We also had the opportunity to get our nails beautified by the Sally Hansen ladies, I picked dark purple color for my nails… Dark shades are always on trend for the cooler months. “Dark purple is a fun, new twist on dark nails.”

Makeup was provided by  NYX makeup… Where I learned that white cream shadow helps color appear up to 100x more vivid. Pearl helps maximize any iridescent effect. Skin tone helps color hold naturally.

Even the food was awesome.

The best part of all, I got to flaunt my new SM New York Women’s Groovy Dress Shoe – Blush
