Playa, Sol, Arena are among the things we think when the summer arrives. We get excited about having a blast and getting to spend time doing outdoors activities, bust sometimes we forget about the summer skin routine.

According to Lisa Hunter, Artistry Beauty and Personal Care Director: a change in the season means it’s time to re-evaluate your skin care routine.

During summer time protecting your skin can be easy as 1-2-3

The first step you need to do is: Cleanse

Summer heat usually makes skin feel in need of cleansing more often. Make sure you’re cleansing at least in the morning and at night.

After your face is clean, do not forget to: Moisturize

Even if your skin feels oily, don’t stop moisturizing. Under-hydrating skin can actually lead to more oil production. If your regular moisturizer feels too heavy, switch to something lighter during the summer months.

And last but not least: Protect

Use sunscreen, and plenty of it. If your moisturizer includes an SPF, it may be enough protection for days when you’re not in the sun for long. But, beach days or other days when you’re exposed to the sun’s rays for extended amounts of time call for added  SPF protection. Apply often. A shot glass-size amount (one ounce) for your body, a tablespoon for your face and neck.

During Summer face skin tend to get dry, maintianing a glowing skin is a matter of practice.

Exfoliate your face, to let your natural glow shine through. Using an intensive skincare renewing peel delivers to uncover luminously fresh, new skin without the irritation associated with a traditional chemical peel is a great way to keep your face glowing the rest of the summer.

Don’t layer on heavy foundation. Make the switch to tinted moisturizer for the perfect amount of summer coverage that won’t slick off in the sun.  Finish your look and add a bit of radiance 3D Face Powder.  Simply sweep over forehead, cheeks, chin and  nose for a glowing look of sun-kissed perfection.

” The secret to a truly glowing complexion is taking care of your skin. After cleaning your face with a cleansing product, apply a renewing peel. After eight minutes, rinse to reveal soft, gorgeous skin. Apply toner, and finish with your favorite moisturizer,” said Lisa Hunter.

Drink plenty of water.

Make it a point to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day to hydrate your skin and body cells. And don’t wait until you feel thirsty to drink a refreshing glass of water. Water helps improve your circulation and flush out toxins from your body, which in turn have a direct effect on your skin’s radiance.

Learning how to embrace your skin type is very important.

Dry skin: Dryness is a sign of dehydration and lack of skin repairing vitamins.

Skip foundation on hot summer days and let your skin breathe with a tinted moisturizer (see product info below) with SPF 15 for sheer, glowing coverage. The moisturizing formula smoothes and hydrates your skin for an even, radiant complexion.

Acne: For those who are fighting ACNE:

Fight acne inside and out. Have you tried everything ? Nothing have worked for your skin. We have good news.

The clear.now®  brand is the only acne treatment line to offer a 3-step skincare system, supplement and targeted treatment device to help stop the cycle of breakouts for good.  The clear.now system promotes a healthy, beautiful complexion. In clinical studies, participants began to notice results in as little as two weeks. And the clear.now Acne Treatment Device topically treats mild to moderate inflammatory acne blemishes for fast results.

Oily: Do you have overproductive sebaceous glands, which are responsible for oily skin?

The good news is this skin type is generally slower to show fine lines, wrinkles and discoloration. The downside can be more frequent breakouts, large pores and a greasy appearance. Do you have overproductive sebaceous glands, which are responsible for oily skin? Stick with the basic.

Enjoy all the perks of the summer, but make sure your skin and eyes are at all times protected !
