Natural Remedy for Spring Allergies

Posted March 30, 2012 by Astrid in MatriPuntos

Spring is here and with its rains comes the season of year that we normally think of when it comes to allergies. As the trees start to bloom and the pollen gets airborne, allergy sufferers begin their annual ritual of sniffling and sneezing. Each year, 35 million Americans fall prey to seasonal allergic rhinitis, more commonly known as hay fever.

Although there is no magical cure for spring allergies, as Latinos we have a number of ways to combat them, from home remedies to household habits.

Some habits go from keeping all windows and doors closed because we believe pollen will enter our homes, to exhaustive cleaning every weekend. Our remedies could be quite colorful from Eucalyptus teas, extracts and syrups to Vapor Rubs vapors and Cat’s Claw capsules.

This Spring season we tried something different home, we tried the SinuSense by WaterPikproduct.

My husband has made a ritual of flushing his sinues every morning. To him is just like brushing his teeth. It Massages, cleanses and moistens his sinus passages with the gentle, pulsating stream of the Waterpik® SinuSense™ Water Pulsator. I am also in love with it, I used to always have a stuffy nose since my 4 year old brings every single allergies front from school and shares with me, and SinuSense has been literally amazing.

I was gracefully compensated to provide this product review and It has been a lifesaver!
