Empowering to Succeed
This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Prudential and DiMe Media. However, all opinions expressed are my own.

As an influencer I attend many social media events through out the year which I enjoy doing because it’s important to me that I stay relevant to what is going on in the world changing of times as well as for our personal growth. But in all honesty Hispanicize is by far my all time favorite conference; I have been attending for the past 5 years. It’s where I have learned the most from, have had the opportunity to establish very good business relationships and have been blessed with some amazing friendships.
Prudential Financial Inc. who was the Presenting Sponsor of this years 7th annual event was a great influencer for us all. Re-enforcing the importance of having a balanced life. We could be really strong in one aspect of our life but if another is lacking it can be counter productive. This year was extra special for me at #Hispz16 because it began with Dime! Summit an intimate, all day VIP experience only open to Latino content creators and influencers. I’ll be honest with you if I didn’t know any better I would have thought they where talking directly to me. You see, I have always been a positive person and have always looked at the good side of everything, but as we all know difficult times happen to all of us at one point or another. Life just happens and there are situations that are out of our control. I was so disappointed about the way that a business that I had put my hopes on had turned out. I thought it was over for me, having to start all over at this time in my life.
But from the first day at DiMe! I was encouraged and felt so empowered by women like Julissa Arce, Cristy Clavijo-Kish, Cameka Smith, Christina Shelling and many others that while under adverse circumstances they chose to see it as an opportunity instead of a disadvantage and pressed on to make their dreams come true and today they are reaping the benefits of their decisions.
These #WomenInspired me to make that shift in my mind to go for it! If we are alive today it’s because we still have a purpose in this life. I was empowered to focus on what I have to impart to others from my own experiences. That it’s not the conditions of our life that control our destiny but the decisions we make today that will make the difference in our future. Mainly taking short term actions on all aspects of life including our business, finances and health in order to achieve the long term result that we desire.
I want to thank Hispanicize, DiMe Media, Prudential and all the Latino and multicultural digital influencers for impacting my life this year in an amazing positive way.
I am already looking forward to what Hispanicize 2017 will share with us. Until then may all your creative juices keep flowing! Blessing to you all.
