My boy has always been very charming, entertaining, on-the-go child. Vegetable, fruits and healthy food were introduced to his diet early in life. But his changeable nature made him a picky eater. A change on his diet did not even resolve the problem. He was just tired of the same food.

1915_47505437722_4833_nI took him to the pediatrician and he said:  “toddler’s rejection of favorite foods is natural, try to understand that younger toddlers generally do not reject the food you’ve prepared for them in order to drive you crazy.”

Yes, it is a natural thing that most of the parent might face during the first years of the child’s life. Under my desperation and many conversations with experts I learned that a toddler’s appetite can temporarily wane when teething or ill, causing temporary disregard even for tried-and-true mealtime favorites. Older toddlers may reject foods to garner attention or as a way to assert their independence, or both, because it’s fun to watch their parents react.

Whatever the case, because toddlers are characteristically fickle, parents should remain flexible. And, they should try not to worry.

So I decided to worry no more and begin to serve a variety of healthy food every day, at the end he did find something to eat on his plate.

I had to changes the way I served and prepared food and it has worked a lot… at least I only have to worry about that since I have always picked the best diapers for my kids: Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers with New SureFit Design.  The up to 12 hour of leakage protection, unique flexible waistband and more conforming gap-free fit is what I love the most.
